Indigenous Land Acknowledgement for Gray Line Toronto
We at Gray Line Toronto acknowledge that we operate on the traditional territory of many Indigenous Peoples who have cared for this land for millennia. We honor their deep connections to this place and express our gratitude for the stewardship of the land by the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendat, and Mississauga Peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, including Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. We recognize the enduring presence and contributions of all Indigenous Peoples and reaffirm our commitment to learn, listen, and collaborate to support the reconciliation process. As we showcase the beauty and heritage of this land through our tours, we encourage all our guests to join us in respecting and learning from the Indigenous cultures and histories that continue to enrich Toronto and its surroundings. Let us all move forward together with open hearts and open minds, working towards a future of mutual respect, understanding, and solidarity." This Indigenous Land Acknowledgement recognizes the historical and ongoing presence of Indigenous Peoples on the land that Gray Line Toronto operates and emphasizes the importance of respecting and learning from their cultures and histories.
